How exactly do you integrate HC encoder into DVD-RB 0.78? The menu option "Use other encoder" is grayed out. I have HC.exe in the DVD-RB folder, but I'm not sure how to tell Rebuilder to use it instead of CCE. I used the Rebuilder installer, if that makes a difference. Anybody have a link on how to set this up? Thanks!

You don't/can't, HC Encoder is only supported in the Pro Ver. of DVD-RB.

You can use HC in any version of DVD-RB.

HC uses the same command line commands as QuEnc. Make sure you set HC's ini. And tell DVD-RB to encode using QuEnc and set the Quenc path to the HC program instead of QuEnc in DVD-RB's settings. And make sure you use a version of HC that supports command line.

Hank315 was working on adding the QuEnc compatible command lines, so I knew it would work with the freeware version of DVD-RB when he finished. The reason I've created a special HC option in the Pro version is so it can take advantage of DVD-RB's Pro features like custom matrices for different bitrates, GOP settings, and DC Precision. In future versions DVD-RB will do more intelligent selection of settings for you. Quote from this thread (scroll down a bit):
