I was making a backup of XMEN (minus the 1GB of previews) and ran into this problem. Everything seemed to go without a hitch. I didnt even get any script errors importing into Scenarist. When I went to START the DVD creation process, the below errors spat out at me.
Any idea what is causing this and how I can fix? I am running Scenarist 2.7, DIF4U 1.4.7 and the latest Scenaid 1.045b. For encoding I was using DIF4U settings with CCE 2.67.0.23.
Please help.

hi recoil47,
to fix the subpicture avaliability flags error, please see this post:
error: Error Scenarist only supports sequential flags (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=88828&highlight=supports+sequential+flags)
as for the pallette error, d3s7 is aware of this, and is in the process of providing a fix for it. in the meantime you can read this post for a manual way to fix it:

Thanks for the pointer. Turns out that thread was about the same DVD too. :)
I fixed the color palette issue easily enough, but I still need help with the Squential Flags issue. Here is what others had to say in the thread you pointed me to:
I think the problem is being caused by the subpic availability flag. I think that for example stream 3,4 and 5 are available and 1 an 2 not. Scenarist won't accept that. It requires sequential availability. You can check this in the property browser. Select the title/pgc that is giving problems and drill down on the subs in the property browser.
That is correct..... the tracks are more then likely dummied correctly however the layout is set according to original IFO... Scenarist can't handle that. You can change the "Availability" from "Specific" to "Use All Available" and then it will mux fine...That will need to be done on Each Title in question (or you can modify the script and re-import which might be quicker). when updating the ifo's in this case, don't select the copy subtitle option and the original will stay in tact
I haven't been able to find the "Availability" in the Properties Browser. Looks like editing the script might be easier, but I would need to know where to look and what to change to do that. Can anyone assist?
Thanks

hmm seems one of the quotes is written by me?
I think adjusting in scenarist is probably easier than editing the script. I don't know exactly by heart, but you go into the layout editor and click on the title or pgc symbol (or maybe even titleset symbol). And in the property browser you drill down on the sub properties.

OK I think I found it.
I went to SCENARIO EDITOR and clicked on VTS4_TITLE1 icon. Below in the Property Browser I see:
Subpicture Availability Flag Policy: CUSTOM
(the other option for the above is ADJUST MAXIMUM STREAMS IN THIS TITLE)
Subpicture Stream 1, 2, and 4 are CHECKED, the rest are not.
Now the $1000 question: How do I fix the issue?
Do I change the Subpicture Availability Flag Policy to: ADJUST MAXIMUM
Do I check mark the "3" Subpicture Stream?
Do I check mark ALL of the Subpicture Streams?
(for VTS4_Title2 only Subpicture Stream 3 is CHECKED)
Thanks

You can either choose adjust maximum or check all streams. After compiling you can edit the ifo if you don't want the other streams to be selectable
