Xvid version

How do you tell what version you have installed? I looked at it in GSPOT and it doesn't give a version. My Xvid is part of K-Lite codec pack and I can't tell what version Xvid is.

Go to the XviD folder to where you have installed it (e.g: C:\Program Files\XviD) and look at 'releasenotes.txt' in there. The very first line in it will tell you the version (e.g: mine says XviD-1.1.0-Beta1-16012005 _Beta Release_ and that is what I have. Here 1.1.0-Beta1 is the version and 16-Jan-'05 is the build date).

Another way:
run VirtualDub -> Video -> compression -> chose XviD -> then the ABOUT button...
