"video 2" codec?

Hi. I've been sent a video clip which won't play in any of my players (default is MPC - latest version - also have WMP9, QuickTime). According to the file properties, the video stream is of the type "video 2" which, from what I've been able to discover, seems to be a legacy codec from sorenson.com. Can I get this anywhere? It's not mentioned on their site; they seem keen to plug version 3 onward. I've got audio in this clip but nothing to look at!

could you run it through gspot for some further information. i think something along the lines of ffdshow should enable you to solve the problem!!
