Hi.

I am having an issue with Scenarist i cant seem to solve, so i am asking for some insight as to how to fix it. When I try to mux a finished encoded dvdr in Scenarist, it gives me this error:

Error Cell "VTS3_Title1_PGC1_PG2_C1" and Cell "VTS3_Title1_PGC1_PG1_C1" in PGC "VTS3_Title1_PGC1" use different color palettes. Please use one color palette for all tracks in the same PGC.

Same error on all PGCs... If someone could enlighten me as to how to solve this, i am most grateful. I am using the Big3 method of reencoding.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Toadster!

look at:
http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=92068

It seems it's a minor glitch of the new Scenaid build...

My suggestion (as a temporary patch...) is:

1. Normally import the scp file created by ScenAid

2. Before start of compiling the title, select the track editor window of Scenarist

3. Select the first Subpicture track for each one of the VTS tracks of your title

4. Check in the menu Settings --> Color Palette what is the current attribution. Most probably it is the Scenarist Default

5. Change it to the right one (i.e. if you are in the VTS01 track, change the default palette to the VTS01 palette, and so on ...)

That worked in my case...

Cheers,
SD

@ Sir Didymus:
thanks for your excellent explanation and 'fix' for the error. very much apprecaited, as always :)

@Toadster:
as Sir Didymus has already stated, this error is a known one and is in the process of being fixed by D3s7.
i would highly recommend that, if you have any further errors as a result of using "the big 3", that you post in the DoitFast4U, BatchCCEWS, ScenAid & NuMenu4u (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=66) forum, as posts in other forums can sometimes be overlooked.
oh, and welcome to the forum :D !

cheers

Excellent fix indeed. I just encountered this problem doing Blade 2, but it seems it's not a problem anymore (once again) after reading the doom9 forums. ;)

Great work Sir Didymus!
And looking forward to new build of ScenAid D3s7 :)
