What is behind ESS support?I mean,which option in the xvid codec is choosen?Is a max bitrate set?A special matrix?What about the audio?How does the bitrate spikes control work?Thanks

Hi,
I'll make it short, make a search for ess or vbv to get more infos.
.ess is for use with SAP having the ess vibrato chip; it restricts AGK to use mpeg or H263 matrix only.
.vbv is also for SAP uses, it uses the DXN HT Profile (Divx actually, Xvid 1.1 to come) instead of the AS@L5 usual AGK Profile. It will regulate the high bitrate peaks to 4000 kbp/s
Nothing related to the audio to my knowledge :)
