I loaded several different types of video w/audio (Xvid, mpeg2) into VDub (1.5.10.1) and tried demuxing wav and nothing happened (w/audio@full processing). I usually have no problem doing this. Do I need a special codec to demux wav? I reinstalled a codec pack and everything reinstalled fine. I have direstshow mpeg3 codec and lame mp3 decoder installed. I ran an audio program (heada3che) to see if I could create a .wav from an .mp3 and had no problem. I reinstalled VDub and still no demux. I tried Nandub and same thing. Not sure what it is.

I had this happen to me once. The way I fixed it was to delete references to Vdub from the registry. Maybe someone else has another suggestion. Codec packs usually cause more problems than they are worth, IMHO. I have been using AviMux_gui to demux audio. Works great.
