hello,

i've uses DVD2SVCD to try and make a cd backup of my dvd.

i followed the guide and all the processes seemed to go smoothly, untill finally all the compression was complete.
then i had to leave.

now i'm trying to fiugre out how to burn the cd. the guide just forwards me to the dvddecrypter page. i know how to use dvd decrypter

BUT, there is no .iso in my folder where i've kept all the dvd2svcd files.

there is also no .bin files or .cue files which the guide says it should put out. There are a bunch of other files. (i don't know how to take a screen shot, but i'd like to add one so you can see what i'm working with here)

any ideas about what i should do?

thanks,
max

Look into your folder, find dvd2svcd_log.txt file. Open it in notepad, copy all and paste in your post.

it seems you have chosen "no image" there whereas you should have taken VCDXBUILD or VCDIMAGER..

if I am mistaken and you have chosen one of the two, paste the contents of vcdxbuild.log (or something similar) or vcdimager.log(or something similar) here

search google for a term such as "how to take a screenshot" if you'd like.. basically you hit prntscrn and paste it in Mspaint for example

and lastly, you can use the MPG you got to author(create) you SVCD.. simply drag it to a progam such as VCDEASY or (less preferably) Nero under SVCD mode
