AGK and spyware

I have also installed an old non sypware version of this, and just found another thread about this when browsing randomly.

So AutoGK contains Spyware. How is one supposed to find out easily? IF something is called Freeware, than it should be Freeware. AND not like German internat Flatrates, with 1 GB of traffic)

Why do I complain. Because the thread below is closed by the programmer, because everything is said! What does it mean if noone posts? You can only find it by searching, not by browsing!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never would think of searching software on doom9 for spyware.

So make this thread below a sticky and I think it is fair for everyone to make his own opinion.

i had installed every release of AutoGk and i remember that from 1.65 (iirc) in setup there is license agreement for DAE.

AND in autogk.net, on main page, at "Stable AutoGK 1.95 is out" there is written

This release does contain a separate responsetarget advertizing software (see disclaimer in the installer) as was introduced in latest betas. Search the development forum for more info - it was extensively discussed there.

so you have been warned.

And about free of speech: you are free of search what you want.
