I have read so many statements by so called Gurus that TMPGEnc will take only RGB input. My TMPGEncPlus-version 2.58..44.152 refused to accept anything other than yuy2!!
After lots of searching-i realized it is a registry problem-you can use video registry editors like
http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=RadLight_Filter_Manager
to increase the merit of the MS colorspace converter-after that you can load avisynth file with color apace yuy2,yv12 or rgb 32 into TMPGEnc
