DVD Decrypter and multiangle DVDs

Dear LIGHTNING UK!,
I wish to thank you for developing such a wonderful tool. DVD Decrypter is currently the tool for copying DVDs to HDD.

But I must complain about multiangle processing: why on Earth can't Decrypter process all angles? Why do you have to select a single angle? Is it that hard to implement (I have no idea, just asking)?

Please, can you add this to your to-do list, unless it's already there? It's a shame Decrypter can't do it yet.

Thanks again for DVD Decrypter. I don't know what it would be without it.

Erm?!

File mode copies all angles - because it copies the entire vob - as would ISO mode therefore.

IFO mode is not designed to take all angles. After all, does your player play all angles simultaneously? No, I didn't think so! and that's what IFO mode is supposed to mirror.

So... what's up with the "Multi Angle Processing" checkbox in File Mode tab? And with the "Retain Angle [1-9] in VOBs"? If I check this, only one angle will be selected in File Mode or what?

Yeah if you choose to process the angles, you just get one.

That option is an ooooold one that was implemented before IFO mode ever existed. If you want just 1 angle now (or anything with a 'just' before it really!), you'd use IFO mode.

So leave that setting unchecked and you get everything.
