What is the best one - given time and resources not a problem. Is there a pre-made HDTV profile ?????

use the EQM V3ULR matrix

As always, this depends on how big the result should be. 700 MB per hour? 1400 MB per hour?


If quality is all you care about, use the same matrix you would use on your 'normal' high-quality encodes. Provided your CPU is fast enough to play back the result.
