How to get subs (sub/idx) back in DVD ?

I have a DVD image, with menu and one subtitle stream (not a language which is available in the menu).

I also have a sub/idx file with the subs (3 streams) I want back in the DVD(subtitles present in menu).

What program can I use to join the subs from the idx/sub file back in the DVD and KEEP the menu ( I dont want to re-encode)?
the substream present now on the DVD I dont need.

(My knowledge of ifoedit is 0)

Pgcdemux, Vstrip or Vobedit to demux streams
SubToSup to convert sub/idx to sup
Ifoedit, Rejig or Muxman to mux everything back
Menuedit, Pgcedit or Vobedit to check/edit menu commands
Ifoedit for final "mock strip" and "get VTS sectors"
(My knowledge of ifoedit is 0)
Perhaps it's time to start to learn.
