VFAPIConv tool

Can't get this tool to run, it's missing a file (.inf). Seems like no one uses it anymore and only one/two sites offer a download. This tool allows VOBs to be accepted into VirtualDub and I'd really like to use it.

Did you get it from the Doom9 download page? It works fine for me. What makes you think you are missing an INF file?

Did you know you can import into VDub using DGMPGDec? VFAPI is slower and forces RGB color space.

I ran the VFAPI batch file and it gave me an error and said there was no vifp.inf file (there is no .inf file in the download). When I run the program and try to insert a d2v file (created from DGIndex) it says the file is invalid. I think I've tried with a DVD2AVI file, too, and had the same results. I got the program from digital-digest and some other site. Doom9 doesn't offer it. I'll try DGMPGDec. Thanks.

It works fine with DGIndex. Did you follow the instructions in the file DGVfapi.txt?

I just downloaded it from the Doom9 download page and the file vifp.inf is right in there!
