I'm trying to encode Beauty and the Beast Special Edition. During the prepare phase, I get the following error. Any suggestions?

What do you mean for "the problem was gone" ?
Is the same m2v file properly encoded with RB 0.74 and not with 0.79 ?
Or you simply mean that DVD-RB completed the rebuild step ?

In this last case (if the file is missing and the rebuild session completed normally), be very careful with this "funny strategy" of downgrading to cope with the missed m2v file.

Jdobbs explicitely included in the recent releases of DVD-RB this check precisely in order to stop the application in case of missed m2v encodes. These files (most probably) are necessary to the correct (and complete) rebuilding of the title.

At your place I'd not downgrade back to previous DVD-RB releases, but I'd go deeper into the matter, looking at the reasons for missing this file.

Is the source file a still frame ?
Is the corresponding avs play fine with a media player ?

Cheers,
SD

I get the error when starting encode with 0.79. If i then delete all files and run prepare again i don't get that error when starting encode using 0.74. Might mention as well that i'm using cce 2.70.02.00 and have to edit between prepare and encode according to:

CCE v2.70+ works just fine with DVD-RB v0.69.

Just replace the:
; Cinema Craft Encoder SP -- Encoder Control List
; Created by DVD Rebuilder

with:
; CCE SP Trial Version -- Encoder Control List

at the top in REBUILDER.ECL

But as long as i use 0.74 everything works perfect :)
