how would i go about putting 2 iso images on a single dvd? i have 2 seperate avi's that i can't join because the streams are different, so i'm thinking i'll try rendering each to an iso then burn to dvd, but can i join 2 iso's, or is there a way to burn 2 iso's in succession to dvd.

i had no idea how involved this stuff can be lol.

also, i was wondering if i could use a multi-purpose text editor like ultaedit to join 2 .bin files, the real problem seems to be editing out the trailing info from file 1, and editing out the header info from file 2. does this seem feasable to you guys?

Point one - this is difficult.
I notice your other thread pertains to DVD2SVCD.
If you are using this to create your DVD files from the AVI source, set it to Don't Make Images and use 2230 as the disc size. Then use the final muxed file from each conversion in a manual authoring app like TMPGEnc DVD Author or DVD-Lab. Both have free trials which are unlimited so try both and pick your favourite.

As for joinind BIN files, why do you want to do that?
Is it to burn 2-disc (S)VCD's onto DVD?
This will not get a compliant DVD as (S)VCD's have 44.1kHz audio (not supported in DVD specs) and SVCD resolution is also not compliant.

You can use VCDEasy or VCDGear to extract the MPEGs from the bin files and author to DVD but the result may not work in your player as the DVD will be non-standard. DVD-Lab will let you do it, though. It is more difficult with TMPGDA.

I think ASFtools will join AVIs and it's free. (search asftools).

thank you for the help!

As mentioned above you could use DVDGear extract the mpegs from the bin/cue or Iso and later merge them with a video joiner, if you want you can burn them or simply convert them to SVCD/DVD what ever you wish.
