Hello!
I am a semi-newbie of GK. I used to use ver.0.287 and acheived compressibility between 60% and 80%, and bits/(pix*frame) between 0.17 and 0.3.
After upgrading to ver.0.35, bits/(pix*frame) is usually over 1 to make compressibility over 60%. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling both rip and codec packs but in vain. Are these values normal for the new version?
Is it possible to set output frame rate to values other than those predefined?

Are you encoding the same movies with both versions? otherwise it's meaningless, since every movie has its own values, depending on its own compressibility test.
As for your other question, yes, down to the bottom left of the GUI, you can set output framerate, or you can set it in avisynth :)

No. I am not encoding the same movie. The change is a generalized impression after encoding a few movies with the new version. If it is not observed by others, maybe I am too sensitive. :) :)
I know the FPS value can be changed by the dropdown box at the lower left corner. I have to set that to 10fps which is not an option there. Anyway, I will try with avisynth. Thx.
