Convert Real to Xvid

Having a hard time trying to convert a realmedia file to xvid. Specifically the audio portion of the realmedia file. Virtualdub or tmpgenc doesn't seem to recognize the audio portion. Is there a specific line I need to add in a .avs file, do I need to demux the realmedia file first, etc. Its late and I can't seem to find the answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What format is the audio in? eg. Cook.

This is important, because the gabest realmedia splitter cant support some of the audio formats (i think).

sirber...i did read that thread. i understand how to use a .avs file and virtualdub, but i've never tried to convert a .rmvb file before. i don't have a problem with encoding the video, but i can't seem to get the audio portion encoded.
