I own the Blue Collar Comedy Tour and Tour rides again. Both are about 3.7 gigs (Main Movie).
I want to use DVD Decrypter to rip the main movie, wanted chapters for each movie to seperate folders. Then I assume I need to rename the VOB/IFO's so that I can combine them info the same VIDEO_TS folder. How do I do that? Then I need a program that will let me make a start-up menu? ULEAD DVD Mavie Factory?
ANy help is appreciated.
THanks

O.k...I bought it on your recomendation. Now I have to wait until I get home to download it, since it looks like it locks to one PC. Does the author allow more than one PC to have his proggy? If I want it on both my laptop and home PC, do I need to buy two copies?
Also, on his site, he states about using a authoring program to make a dumb menu...can someone further expand on that?
thanks,
jel

Mr Monte.
not sure if this helps, but there are guides avaliable on dimad's website.
this one details how to insert a custom menu: "One-click" dvds merging - customize start-up menu (http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_customize_menu.php)
as for simple menu creation, you could try these two tools:
DVD Styler (http://dvdstyler.sourceforge.net/)
and
DVD Author GUI (http://www.free-codecs.com/download/DVDAuthorGUI.htm)
which are both GUIs for DVD Author.
good luck

edit: oh, and almost forgot ...

It does.

For most users there is no need to get more then one license. You can have program installed on more then one computer, but copies should not be used at the same time: http://www.dimadsoft.com/license.php?prog=dvdremake%20pro

Thanks Dimad, it's just that I am on the road about 140 days a year and would like to do work on the road and when I am at home on my more powerful P.C.
Thanks,
Monte
