In case someone still uses ImgTool Burn: There is a new beta available. It will become final if there are not that many problems.

There are following changes:

don't write short lead out on DVD-R media
only API 6.3: if DVD-ROM booktype option isn't set, setting of booktype will not be touched
(useful if you set booktype using an external program)

Download as usual at my site ( http://www.coujo.de (http://www.coujo.de/ib2/index.php?showtopic=1964) ).

Thanks Coujo!

Just a short question: would it be possible to add a size check to your tools (especially imgtoolclassic)? I experienced that dvd-decrypter issues a overburn warning where imgtoolclassic didn't tell me anything. Fortunatly the oversize was just 200KB, so it didn't matter. It would be a pain to rework the backup when you thought you just need to burn it ;-))

Cheers & thanks for your nice tools! NaN

In this case ImgTool Classic is just one step earlier ... so I don't know if this really makes sense. Also it's possible to create DVD9 images ...

Another request. Would it be possible to set a default DVD files directory. Every time I browse inside ImageTool I have to navigate back to my I:\DVD Files directory. Or have I missed where to configure this?

Great tool BTW I always use this tool for burning my DVD backups. Great work. :)

and is it just me, or if you select the image recorder as your drive and then hit burn, you cant click the 'cancel' button in the 'open file' dialog box. It just keeps reappearing!

It is possible to add the default dir feature ... in the next version.

Btw. It's really funny: I never thought that there is this much possible to implement in such a simple tool ...

Yes, LIGHTNING! this is only 4U :D .

You're right. I'm using the image recorder not that much ... and if, I don't press cancel. I'll change this in the next version. Thanx for support!

Hi Coujo!

Thanks for your great tools!

However, what do you think of a dialog box telling the user the image size exceeds the dvd-5 specs and has to be burned on a dvd-9? Maybe with an option to turn this dialog of in the preferences?

It really hurts if I have to realize that the freshly created iso is too large and I've to edit the files and to create the iso again.

Would be great if you could add something like this to imgtool classic!

Thanks a lot, NaN

Yes, this is possible. Maybe in the next update of ImgTool Classic.
