Whats a good AviSynth filter for IVTC?

I have problems when converting from 29.970 to 23.976 on scene changes I have interlace lines or when something is panning I notice them aswell. My Source is NTSC DVD.
im using this for IVTC "GreedyHMA(0,0,3,0,1,0,90,115)" can someone recommend anything better because on most downloaded videos i see no lines at all. thanx in advance.
im not sure if this was posted in the correct spot but im converting to XviD if that makes any diff

minQuantizer-1, MaxQuantizer-4, Trellis Quant
Motion Detection-6, VHQ-4
Chroma Motion, Chroma Optimizer
No Bframes or GMC or QPEL

i use these settings all the time for my TVCaps and DVDRips
the only things i change are resolution and bframes on some encodes.

when bvops are used i use
Max1, QuantRatio-1.50, QuantOffset-0.75

are these setting good?

GreedyHMA has been superceded by improved tools. Two popular approaches are Decomb and tritical's package of tools (TFM, TDecimate, TDeint).

I concur with neuron2, either option will suit you just fine.
