I just got a movie from a friend and it was working great on his computer and I tryed it on mine and media player wouldn't play it. I looked for a reason and couldn't find one, and he told me to install the new Codec pack from Doom9. I did and now all my movies and videos are cut smaller. His video he gave me works fine now but with a smaller image. It has a black line at the top and right side (like Letter bozed or 16X9 movies). I seen on the task bar that there was a new icon there and right clicked to see if there was a Video Options or Display setting. I seen none that would fix the problem. But I don't under stand why all of my videos are now doing it. If I go full screen it makes it the same size and just moves the video to the bottom left corner with larger black lines at the top and right side. I paid for the full version of DivX and seen where it installed the Trial version. Could that have messed it up? Please let me know, these lines are driving me crazy. Thanks in advance. Mel..
