normally i do a complete reauthor... but time:mad:.. is the problem..
following this guide: http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html#joindbl
i end with a problem...
Now you just need to adjust the IFO file. You have got 2 options for that:

1: Let IfoEdit create new IFO files for this title-set and you're done.

2: Let IfoEdit correct the original IFO file with the new vob-file information.
Since 7 VOB files are to large for a DVD-R, you will go to strip some streams out anyway. In that case the original IFO file gets automaticaly updated by IfoEdit.

So, this flipper dvd5 has a small menu that i want to keep...(Side A)
Ok, with 1, it works perfect, but no menu...
with 2, i don't understand this... how to let ifoedit coreect the original IFO?????

can someone explain.????

or other methods??? (Just the merging with small existing menu...) the compressing part i'll do the big3 method...

Thanx...

It means do a stream strip or even a mock strip of the VTS.

With method 1, you have indicated your menu doesn't work - this is strange as it should be present (unless the menu resides in a different VTS or even VMG).

May be this will be usefull? http://www.dimadsoft.com/dvdremakepro/ht_merge1.php

It is about merging previously split disk, but approach is quite similar. You append movie PGC from disk(side) 2 to side 1 and add chapters into movie title. You can even put chapter selection menus from second side to merged disk but this may take some efforts - depends on the way original navigation is authored.

it seems that nobody could explain the 2nd option...

I need it properly!!!

On the dvd there is just a simple menu, and on every dvd ONE PGC...

I say again:

After the join, you will have 1 VTS from VTS_01_1.VOB to VTS_01_X.VOB

What this instruction to you means is for you to do a stream strip (if you want) or, at the very least, a mock strip of the VTS.

See here (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=84097) for how to do a mock strip.

i think i'm having a problem.... otherwise i'll miss something in my brains or....

i've followed this guide: http://ifoedit.wh.fr0zen.com/joinclip.html#joindbl

@DVD-A: One PGC(VobID 1), small menu
@DVD-B: One PGC(VobID 1), small menu

@DVD-B: done like guide, made VobID1 to VobID2.

So i have a couple VTS...

Ran IFOEDIT through it and?? then ???? (i'm stuck here...)
