Sorry if this is wrong forum section, but I want to know if there is any way I can install codecs on a computer without administrative priveleges, in order to encode a video file in VirtualDub. Anytime I install a codec VirtualDub won't recognize it, and I can't open or encode in anything except the default codecs on the system. Is there any way I can get around this or is there a different encoder that would work? The codecs I want to use are Divx 5.2.1, VP7, Xvid, and LAME MP3. Any help is appreciated.
