Removing Video

I have an episode DVD that I am backing up. It has 9 episodes on one DVD witch comes out to 7 gigs. I split it up to two DVDs with shrink. All I did was place a still in the episode that I wanted to cut. What I want to know is there a way to cut out the episode all together? So if you hit the “play all” button it will not play the stills just the episodes.
