Hi, I tried to encode with Xvid with the following settings:
6 ultra high
mpeg
xvid
4-wide search
enable lumi masking
quarterpel
use chroma motion
Bframe 2
DX50 B-Vop compatibility
Chroma optimizer
the first pass seems quite alright. But the second pass took only three minutes and the final AVI file's size is just a little bigger than the AC3 file and obviously cannot be played.
When I took out
4-wide search (set to off)
enable lumi masking
quarterpel
use chroma motion
Bframe 2
Chroma optimizer
and only used
6 ultra high
mpeg
xvid
DX50 B-Vop compatibility
everything is fine. So i think there must be a setting among the following is incompatible with others. Could anyone give me some idea?

I am using the latest 0.35 Gknot and codec pack 1.9 Thank you.
