i need the best matrix for encode movie in 1 cd.

I like Jawor's 1CD or SixofNine HVS. But you're really gonna have to try it out for yourself to see what you like best.

Is the matrix an element of non negligible quality?

The matrix is a crucial part of compression. It will determine the distribution of quants and how each frame is quanticized (sp? quantized).

Is the matrix counseled for a low debit with animated stages?

Is your question: Is the matrix good for low bitrate for animated content?

If that is, then I'll say that matrices are a whole different ball game depending on the source, animated or real life.

For rl footage, I prefer HVS good (call me stupid =() because it compresses very well and is better for my eyes than Jawor's.

For animated stuff, definitely go with H.263. Its compression is less noticeable than the other stuff out there.

Is matrix for 2CD 720x576 PAL high bitrate?
The former has almost twice higher bit per pixel ratio
than the latter.

Is 900 kb/s high, or low bitrate ?
It could be high, it could be low.


I think number of CD has nothing directly to do
with the kind of matrix one should choose.

Is not better choose matrix according to BPP ratio,
scene type and compressibility ?

Actors scenes and cartoons are for sure more compresible
and can withstand lower BPP ration
than nature with details and sports with rapid movements.
