They just don't work any more. The only codec-type stuff I've installed recently is FFDShow, a DirectShow AC3 codec, and a sound editing app called Audacity.
I uninstalled/reinstalled and it still doesn't work. I can controll the sound through Windows' volume control, and through other apps like Winamp, but not through PowerDVD (no up, no down, no mute, nada.)
Anyone ever had this happen? I can only think that it's some weird setting overriding PowerDVD's controls, but I don't know what it could be.
