Ok. Not sure what Im doing wrong but under this new menu heading I first chose 12 frame gop and the check was placed correctly. THen I chose dc prec of 10 and when I went back to check on the settings I noticed both Default AND dc prec 10 were checked... Hmmm thats wierd. Then I looked at the GOP setting and that had gotten unchecked so nothing was checked there now. Then I tried to uncheck anything in the dc prec and nothing would uncheck so now i have every option in dc prec checked and nothing in GOP... So essentially nothing unchecks in dc prec options and when you change anything in the advanced options menu then that will uncheck anything that was previously checked in the GOP options. So either Im totally retarded right now or something is amiss...
Update: When I close out of rebuilder and open it back up the dc prec and gop settings are reset so thats good. But still nothing ever gets unchecked in the DC prec settings (until you close out) and the GOP settings get blown away if anything is changed in the Dc prec setting.
Another update: This time I had 12 frame gop set and both default AND dc prec 10 set. THen I closed out of dvd rebuilder and opened it back up. The settings for gop were kept so thats good. and the default dc prec was unchecked so leaving only dc 10. THis is how i wanted it setup but it seems I shouldnt hvae to close out of dvd rebuilder to get them that way. Jdobbs could I be doing something wrong?
Well it seems that when I close out of rebuilder and open it back up then the setting for dc prec that it keeps is the last one chosen. So if you choose 8 then 9 (so now default, 8 and 9 are all checked) then close out only 9 will be checked because that was the last one. So essentially what is happening is that its not unchecking the previous option when a new one is chosen. and when more than one option is checked in the dc prec setting than the check dissapears in the gop setting. But im pretty sure the options are still occuring because when i close out the gop option check reappears where it should and the dc prec setting rights itself to the last one chosen. So its all working right i think, its just the check marks that are getting refreshed and updated incorrectly... maybe...
