Audio Channels with XviD

I would like to know how to keep two audio channels when encode a movie using Xvid. Which player allows selection of audio channel when plays back an XviD-encoded movie? Thanks in advance for sharing the knowledge!

Most encoding programs will handle multiple audio streams (VirtualDubMod will handle any number for example). It has nothing to do with XVID. Also, all player programs I know (Crystal Player, Zoom Player, BSPlayer, mplayer, xine, vlc, WMP, etc..) all allow the selection of which audio stream to play. In fact, some (like BSPlayer) allow you to play them ALL back at the same time (good for playing the director's commentary over top the normal sound track).

Thank you so much for your explanation. I did try encoding a vob clip using Auto Gordian Knot 1.92b. I selected two audio tracks, "Audio Stream 0 AC3" and "Audio Stream 1 AC3". When I played back the resulting avi file (XviD encoding) using Cyberlink Power DVD 6, I could not select/change the audio stream. Any idea?

I didn`t think PowerDVD could play avi`s, just mpegs?

But I can recommend the free VLC media player for the pc, plays pretty much everything and can let you choose between audio tracks.

Nope it can play avi, asf and wmv as well. Though, IIRC, it only plays the first audio stream in an avi and doesn't allow switching streams.
