I am working on Alien vs Predator PAL. The credits take up 10 minutes at the end of the movie.

I am looking for a way to blank the video in this lest cell but keep the audio.

Does anyone have any suggestions for that?

I have tried vobblanker but it blanks both.

yes but it will take some work.
1. with vobblanker extract the cells into a work folder.
2. create new ifos with ifoedit then with PgcDemux demux the audio(s).
3. now blank the work folder(the extracted cells with the new ifos)
4. demux that will PgcDemux. to get a blank m2v file.
5. use muxman to author the blank m2v file and the audio(s).
6. lastly use vobblanker to replace the muxman dvd into the original dvd.

you can replace step 3 with: create a blank vob with blankvob use the same tv-system, res, aspect ratio as the original then create new ifos with ifoedit.

there might be an easier way but i can't think of it now.
PS. have fun. :)

I managed to get the desired effect I wanted.

More info in this thread in case anyone else could use this technique.

blanking the video in one cell (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=91600)

I blanked the video in CCE by placing "Levels (0,1,255,16,16)" in the ecl file for the cell I wanted to blank.

Took a while to figure it all out but it seems to work great.

There is a suggestion in the thread how this can be done with vobblanker but I haven't tried it.

Hope this is usefull to someone.
