Rebuilt Images always titled "NEW"

When DVDs are inserted to players or computers, the DVD title is displayed. Every DVD I have created with Rebuilder always displays "NEW".

I would really like to have the ability to edit the Title. Does anyone know how? (I am referring to DVD-RB only, I can edit tiles in CD and DVD compilations. :-)

This problem belongs to the burning program not to the rebuilder.
Seems like your using NERO. There you can enter the title you like for your new DVD.

Actually, I've been using Burntools. It has a place to enter the title, but evidently the title is not getting to the disk. That was why I thought it was RB.

I don't like Nero's DVD burning, and prefer Decryptor. Is there a similar app that takes a dvd folder structure and can create an ISO and disk?

I'll try the Nero one tonight.

use IMGTool to create an .iso of the DVD-RB output. From there you can input the label name you want. Then you can burn the .iso w/ Decrypter.

Never heard of BurnTools, but IMGTool can also change the volume label of an .iso file. So you can still use BurnTools (does it make .iso?) and change the label with IMGTool, or just use IMGTool to build your .iso

You can change the label of an .iso file as well with the DVD-Decryptor.

I was at work when I replied earlier and had the name wrong. It WAS IMGTool.

I am using the newest version (1.1.8 I think) and give the volume label every time. I have been using it to burn as well as create the ISO (that was the source of the wrong name :rolleyes: ). I have never tried creating ISo with it and then burning with Decryptor. I like decryptor for normal ripping and burning, so I'll do that on the next one.

Use imgtool classic- no connections to Nero and you can send it automatically to DVD Decrypter.

i use img_tool 1.1.8 to create a nero image and then burn the file with dvd decrypter. you can enter the voume name with img_tool and a good way of checking wether the program is working or not is to load it into decrypter. if the name in decrypter is the same as the one you entered in img_tool then it is your burning program that was not naming the disc right.

The "NEW" label was a bug in Nero until version 6.6.0.8
