Strange behaviour with PAR 1:1

Hi,
I found this strange behaviour in GKnot 0.35.0. Now I'll write some steps you have to do to reproduce this bug (not sure it's a bug):
1. launch Gknot
2. open a .d2v
3. do Auto Crop
4. set Smart Crop All
5. set Input Aspect Ratio to 1:1
>>6. go to bitrate tab and change codec<<
Here's the problem: Vertical resolution changed!

Here are some other 6th step that you can do instead of changing the codec: change audio bitrate, change number of cds, change stuff in audio interleaving...

Is that normal? Shouldn't the vertical resolution be always the same?

Well, it seems it doesn't happen with all dvds...
for example with Hero PAL it happens, but with The Incredibles PAL doesn't.

I'm a bit confused... :(

May be AR gets reset somehow from 1:1. Try switching to it again after codec change.
