Anamorphic PAL Resize / borders ...

Hi can anyone help me with re-sizing a PAL Anamorphic movie.

I can do it with NTSC like this:

LanczosResize(720,280)

AddBorders(0,96,0,96)

But i don't know the correct sizes for PAL 25FPS.

it's a little roundabout, getting the right numbers, but basically:

4:3 PAL is 720x576, but with square pixels it's 576*4/3=768, so 768x576 for square pix PAL.

now, to make it anamorphic, go 768*9/16 = 432 lines.

so you'll be shooting for 720x432 and pad with borders of 72.

ie:

favouriteresize(720,432).addborders(0,72,0,72)
