Problem muxing AVC into matroska

I encoded a piece of video with x264 and put it in MP4 container by mp4creator (from mpeg4iptools-1.2.5CVS 18/01/2005);

then I wanted to put the MP4 in a MKV file (using mkvtoolnix-unicode-1.4.0), but I got that

error "The video track does not start with a key frame but contains B frames. This is not supported."

whereas, if I convert a Nero Recode's MP4 -> MKV, everything is OK.

Where is the problem?

Whose fault is it? mkvmerge? x264? mine?

propably mp4creator 1.2.5 included a bug that is fixed now, make sure to use always the latest version (which is 1.2.10 atm)

This is indeed a known bug in mp4creator < 1.2.10.

I got the latest mpeg4iptools and everything went fine.
