People,
I have another silly question about menus. I'm wondering if it's possible to have a menu whose highlights are actually animated, either a simple animation or moving on the screen. Now I don't mean something that's in the background video. I mean a menu whose highlights are not fixed but change in the cell, including button areas etc.
I've never seen that. Is it possible? Has anybody seen it?

Maaan! Amazing! You guys discussed all this extensively! That was before I was even born (DVD-wise that is! ;) )
THanks for the links!

I don't know if it was ever made clear in those discussions that sub-pictures cannot be animated in the menu domain. Certain commands (STA_DSP, STP_DSP, and CHG_COLCON) are not permitted in the menu domain. So this must be done in the title domain.

oh yes, that was mentioned. How strange though...
Anyway, thanks a bunch for all these references.
