In previous versions of AutoGK I used to start the job, maximise the window for DVD2AVI (which has now been replaced by DGindex) hit ESC and then manually set the end of the movie and then save.

Now as soon as I try to hit ESC DGindex closes!

Can the facility to set the end of the movie manually please be restored in the next release of AutoGK!

Cheers.

Hello,

This has been covered recently, is related to new dgindex, make a search on lenox and neuron2 to find the thread :)

At the moment the minimum percentage one can set the encode credits to is 20%.

Could this limit be removed so I can encode to 1%?

Cheers.

On hidden options window? Sure.

I suggest that when you change that, the 20% option is still set by default so users dont have to figure out which settings are acceptable... or you might include a short text like "going below 20% will ALWAYS introduce milk artifacts" or something like that

I have a cunning idea of allowing user to select 0% quality which would be that they will be cut off completely.

Seriously, would 0% work?

I would suspect that it may cause problems.

Cheers.

arablover's new thread merged here. Looks like an accidental new thread instead of a reply.

I mean I need to implement such a feature, then it will definitely work :)

good to hear, but if you implement a feature like this maybe it would be easy to do the same with openings credits and/or logos (and, why not, commercials in the middle of captured TV shows), which could be implemented with another hidden option, similar to this one (yes I know about all this so avoid to pointing me to the FAQ, Im just reasking because I do not know if this future implementation makes this "old" request easier to make or not :) )

maybe just an option to insert the number of the beguinnig and ending frames of the segment when want to cut out, with the option to calculate them by inserting timings, as for the credits option
