View Full Version : Nero Digital does not appear as option in Nero Recode 2!!

I have the full version of Nero Ultra Edition 6.6.0.3.

According to the manual for Nero Recode 2, there is an option in that program to encode a DVD to the Nero Digital format. (In my case, I'd like to try it out to encode for Pocket PC.)

However, that option does not appear when I open Nero Recode 2. I see the options: "Recode an Entire DVD to DVD", "Recode Main Movie to DVD", and "Remake a DVD". The option "Copy DVD to Nero Digital", which I see in the User's Guide, does not appear on any menu that appears when I start this program.

In none of the configuration dialoges does any option appear about Nero Digital either.

What is going on? Did a registry entry get corrupted, preventing the Nero Digital option from appearing. Anyone know how I could fix this with a registry tweak?

According to what you've said, you don't have the Ultra version of Nero. If you have a Nero 6.3 or 6.6 Powerpack on a CD, install it first and then install update to 6.6.0.3. That will be the full version. I always do like this.

I just double-checked. In Nero StartSmart, under Product Center, "Programs" tab, "Nero 6 Ultra Edition" is listed, installed version 6.6.0.3.

Hmm.. strange. In the same place I have "Nero Vision Express 3" and "Nero 6" there. Neither enterprise, nor ultra... Just simply this. And all works here. Did you try to reinstall the whole thing ?
