I have a twinham fta pci receiver. It outputs the recorded fta in the mpeg format. Have used dvdpatcher and dvdauthor to trick the
header and author it on a dvd for some fta programs.
Would like to have seperate es streams that are dvd compliant.
Is the twinham output a proprietary mpeg format ? Have tried several programs, such as pvastrumento, projectx etc. Dvd2svcd in dvd mode seemed to work the best, but program length/size were off on import to authoring program.

Any convert/demux/encoding tips for a dvb newbie....

Both project-x and pvastrumento should handle the .mpg files as produced by the twinhan software. If the audio includes AC3, you may have to tick 'MPG=>sPES' on the front page in project-x. TMPGDVDAuthor is happy to use the files spat out by project-x (atleast it is for me).
