View Full Version : RB0.74 + CCE2.7.02 Error on rebuild and Film too Long?

Hi,

I've just got Rebuilder 0.74 set up with CCE Trial 2.70.02.00, tried to reencode a film, the encode process seemed to go fine without any errors but Rebuilder crashed with a "invalid exeption" during rebuild.

It seemed to have already built all of the output dvd structure before it crashed but loading it in PowerDVD, the film appeared too long. After the end credits PowerDVD seemed to think that there was about 30-45mins extra and then crashed when it tried to play it.

Loading the rebuilt dvd into DVD Remake pro, it ran through the "Recovering Cell" process on loading.

Has anyone seen this before or know of a potential issue/fix?

Details:

Film: Enemy of the State (PAL)
CPU: AMD Athlon 32bit
Windows: XP SP2
CCE: Clean install of 2.70.02.00 (note: I still have 2.67 installed in another directory). Defaults set.
Rebuilder: 0.74 clean install. Passes 6. IQP 24. CCESP & Procoder options pointed at CCE 2.7. One Click Mode.
Pre-Rebuilder-Tasks: Removed extras & some menu options with DVD Remake Pro 2.6.6.
AntiVirus: Excluded on Rebuilder directories.
AviSynth: 2.5, Rebuilder pointed at plugins from install. (Haven't changed this since Rebuilding on cce 2.67)

Thanks, LKT.

Have just tried Simpsons S3D4 and got the same result.

The error is Run-time error '5':
Invalid procedure call or argument

Once the movie is recovered with DVD Remake it plays fine.

Have just spotted posts I missed whilst searching and apparently a fix in 0.76, so I'll give it a go. Doh!

Jdobbs: Have punted you $20 for the good work you've done so far on dvdrb.

Cheers, LKT
