I use the latest CCE 2.70!
When i save an ecl with this version i get the Header
";CCE SP Works Version -- Encoder Control List"
I don't find any settings with DVDrb 0.78 which creates this header while preparing.
Wouldn't it be the easiest way to have a new Menupoint under CCE where you can insert a custom header which will override the one which will be set by DVDrb?

This has nothing to do with rule 6. The whole changing the header thing needs to be done even with legal copies of CCE 2.70, because the header for .ecl files has changed, and when you choose CCE SP Trial in the cce options then it just puts "; CCE SP Trial Version -- Encoder Control List" in the header. But if you have a legal version you need this:
"; CCE SP Works Version -- Encoder Control List"
So to answer your question JJF007 what you need to do is set it to use CCE SP Trial in the cce options. Then in the Rebuilder.ini, under the [Options] header you need to put this line:
CCE_Trial_Header=; CCE SP Works Version -- Encoder Control List
Save the .ini and run prepare phase again then hit encode and it should work now.

My bad, from earlier posts from JDobbs & others I had the impression that no legal version have the "Works version" in the header.:(

Not your bad. You were correct. The legal version of CCE does NOT put "Works" in the header. Only the pirated "Works" version put's "Works" in the header. I'm closing this thread.
