Use the "Encode audio files" feature in Nero Start Smart. Nero's encoder kicks ass !

great thanks for the tip.
one other question, im having trouble playing back my encoded .mp4 files in winamp5.
they play fine in wmp10 (using the ffdshow filter).
i have downloaded the in_mp4.dll file req to play aac files in winamp but it doesnt to work for most of the files that i encode.
any ideas?
thanks

And btw, according to past public listening tests, Apple's AAC encoder is rated higher than the Nero one.

how about www.google.com? your one stop source for more issues than you can possibly imagine.
And I just asked if your plugin may not support HE_AAC.. I have no idea if that is the case, but without knowing what software you use, I'd have to be a mindreader ;)
