I have an DTS audio CD with few audio tracks5.1. How can I rip theese tracks to a wav file or any kind of file without loose the channels???
I've tried with dBpowerAMP Music Converter using Channel as source, but the wav file result can't be heard with any player. Normally should be played with vlc media player 0.8.1. Nothing! Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm new arround here, and I haven't found on the forum..........

Try with foobar2000 special version.

It works, the resulting file is a wav file, in fact a dts file with wav header. This file, I'd like to compress somehow keeping the 6 channels but the dimension of the file to be smaller. I know that Fraunhofer developed mp3 surround... http://www.iis.fraunhofer.de/amm/download/mp3surround/downloadpage.html

I've tried to compress the wav file made with foobar2000 but not worked.

Thank you Kurtnoise13

I understood the entire process to obtain from an DTS audio track, a
6 ch wav or 6 mono wavs. The 6ch wav I can convert after that in mp3 surround....
The 6 mono wav files I can process them in Adobe audition for some effects or something. So,I have the files:
E:\01-FL.wav
E:\01-C.wav
E:\01-FR.wav
E:\01-SL.wav
E:\01-SR.wav
E:\01-LFE.wav.
I create a mux file for encoding with besweet into another format. My wish is to conjugate these 6 files into one file (6ch) and then somehow to burn as DTS track on a CD blank.( invert way)
Can you help me????If you do, I'd like to explain with detailed commands (in besweet or another programs that have to use) Thanks in advance!
