Some people have been saying that vp7 doesn't look very good. I wasn't sure myself wheather it was a good codec or not, so I made this quick comparison. please vote for the one that you think looks best.

-deblock strenth 3
-1 consecutive bframe in temporal prediction mode
-15 max reference frames
-all macroblock partitions available
-qpel quality 5
-max idr frame interval 300
-min idr frame interval 24
-2passes @ 300kbps
Xvid1.1:
-unrestricted profile
-qpel enabled
-adaptive quantisization enabled
-mpeg custom matrix (Hybrid X3)
-twopasses @ 300 kbps
-5% high bitrate scene reduction
-5% low bitrate scene improvement
-chroma optimizer enabled
-MSP lvl6
-VHQ lvl4
-chroma motion enabled
-VHQ for b-frames too
-max I frame interval @ 240
