Which may be the recommended matrices and resizer for computer graphics animation?
(just one example "Monsters & C.")
Considering also low bitrate as 900-1000 kb/s (1CD) and resolutions around 640x352

use the H.263 matrice, resize filter and resolution depend of the compressibility of the film, use GK to run compressibility test.

EQM AUTOGK SHARP (aka V2) for high bitrate or h263 for low bitrate and bicubic or lanczos resizer.

EQM AUTOGK SHARP works good for very noise sources too ?

If the bitrate is high enaugh, yes. However i suggest to add removegrain(mode=2) at least.

Well, I use Single Pass Quant 2. So, bitrate is not a choice.

As I found it seems that CG-Animation matrix @ quant 4 has little nice bitrate/detail advantage over either H.263 or eqm_v3ulr_rev3 @ quant 3.
(H.263 is the worst)

V3ULR is not made for CG so dont expect big results.
If i find some free time i will make a low bitrate matrix for CG.
