well
1) ripped Gothika with DVDDecrypter in IFO Mode
2) fired up AutoGK (1.60)
3) 2 audio streams (german+english)
4) 875 MB size
5) xvid

when it was finished i got my little ~ 900MB gothika file,
BUT:
the audio stream starts 20 seconds too early ..

ok no problem i thought and used virtualdubmod to move both audio streams 20 seconds toward the end -> seemed ok and was in sync ..

BUT:
on my standalone DVD player (i tried 3 different standalone players from friends and various dvd and cd media) the 20 seconds problem persists (audio too early) .. when i copy it to the harddrive it is ok and perfectly in sync

i did ~ 50 dvds so far and never saw something similar ..

any idea ??

thx

Hi-

Maybe the players don't handle audio delays well. One possible solution would be to add 20 seconds of silence to the beginning of the audio files. BeSweet has an Append Silence feature. Might have to reencode the audio, though. I've never used that feature so I'm not sure.
