Hi,
i am new to mp4 file parser related work. so i need first some basic ideas how to work on mp4 file parser. If anybody helps me releated this, it would be a great for me. i need help like where i can get open source code for that, materials, etc...

have a look at the mpeg4ip project: mpeg4ip.sourceforge.net

moved to container forum as this is not a codec, but a container issue...

different opensource mp4 parsers can be found in mpeg4ip, gpac, ffmpeg, mplayer, videolan, vitooki and propably a lot of other tools too...

Thanks to all for your reply. The server is streaming a/v data as RTP packet payload data to client. i need to get those payload data and need to be store as mp4 file format. i need some detail information like how track and sample tables are updated while creating mp4 file.....

if this dosn't help reaad the mp4 FAQ thread by bond(see his post sic at this thread) or use google witch searchstrings like: "14496 pdf" or better 214496 doc" wile JTC1 publish her documents in this bad format.
