First:

Yes I saw on page 2 of this form, a similar post, which linked another thread. However I read that thread, and it gave me no clue as to solving the problem.

The backup I am trying to do is Butterfly Effect. DIF4U finds a duplicate PCG. I have tested my ISO using WinDVD and the ISO plays just fine.

Here is a pasted log from Scenaid:

-----------------------------------------

I have encountered this error a couple times before. On one backup, a day later it worked fine with no explaination.

ONE THING TO NOTE. I use the Big3 NEW --- except without Numenu4u. Never was able to get it to work, so I just skip that step and do not re-encode the menus. I have done about 5-6 backups successfully without using Numenu. This is one that is a continual problem though...and its always this same error that thwarts me.

Any help that can be given would be appreciated!

Thanks,
Chuck

Ahh I think I see the problem, and in searching around, I confirmed it in another thread. Not sure there is much I can do here to fix it, I have to wait for D3S7 to update the program?

(I did install Scenaid 1.5)

It looks like in one part it has a file listed as Director's with the aphostrophe, and right below it, it leaves the aphostrophe off. So it stands to reason the backups where I was getting this error, were backups where I wanted to keep the Director's commentary.

Am I correct in assuming that I need to wait for a Scenaid update to fix this?

Thanks

why not just rename that particular file before running scenaid?

recoil : yep....someone else recently reported that error.. I've fixed it in the next build

Basically i use besplit to make the dummy file.. besplit can't handle the ' or spaces in the file names so these need to be renamed...
