Hi,
Scenarist gives the following error when trying to build the dvd:
Error The Audio Attributes (Language, coding mode, etc.) of Stream ID 0 in PGC "VTS1_Title2_PGC2" is different from the existing PGC "VTS1_Title1_PGC1" in Title "VTS1_Title2". The Audio Attributes of PGC's must be the same within VTS Titles.

The attributes of the audio streams on both those pgcs look absolutely the same to me.

Any help is appreciated.

check the script file, to ensure all the audio assets have the same details for all PGCs. Scenarist doesn't actually check the audio info, so this should remove the problem.

One of the pgcs had Bsmod = commentary while the other one Bsmod = complete main.

I changed both of them to commentary and that solved the problem, although I dont really understand 100% the difference between the two and when one should be used as opposed to the other. Since commentary is an enhancement of complete main and since the pgc with the main movie had bsmod set to commentary Im guessing that was the right thing to do. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks,

this from scenaid or numenu?

Both check the raw .ac3 files for those properties which "should" be the same but at times there's dvd standard violations and there aren't (althou ghis is the first time I"ve seen this error)

it doesn't really matter which you set in the case of a dvd.. nothing looks at that flag as far as I know...

yes, the error came from the script created by scenaid ... but thanks to Zeul I looked in the script file and spotted the error right away. At least now I know what to do :)

It's the first time I have seen that error and if anyone is interested the title is Lethal Weapon 3 Director's Cut. I'm re-encoding the second one as we speak ... so Ill post back if that one also gives the same error.

Thanks again for all the help guys

Edit: yup, same thing happened with Lethal Weapon 2.

Well the problem is that this title has probably been authore3d with an other program than Scenarist. I don't think it's a scneaid issue (it could be of course), but caused by a program that's less strict on the specs.
