resolution options ?????????

Hello !

I am a novice in Divx world and although Auto GK have very good help file I still have two questions. Is it better to let AGK to manage resolution (auto option) or should I fix resolution on 720 or 640 for a appx. 2 hour movie 4:3, or in plain words what are the best resolution settings for superb encoding. And the second question is what is the movie lenghth limit from which should I encode on 2 CDs.

Yes.

It has nothing (or very little) to do with the length of the movie. It depends on the movie's compressibility. Some short movies can be difficult to compress. Some long movies can be easy to compress. Again, let AutoGK decide. In some few cases 2 CDs may be too many for some easy to compress movies. Pay attention to the compress test results.
